Skateboard!!!

Ok for our final assignment we were instructed to take our toy and start branding a skateboard after it. I have made a few different sketches for ideas, and a couple different final designs. The first sketch of it was...

During the design process we were asked to create our own texture and to use a raster image in our skateboards.

For my own texture I took watercolours and made a random blog that looks like

Then I greyscaled it....

then I took the texture and put it as an overlay in photoshop onto my name and it resulted in this...

For my raster image I took a picture of a starfish I found on the net and I took it into photoshop and put a glow and embossed it. To create this image...

I took those images and created two designs of skateboards. The first one was...

I ended up using the second board design; however I do like the first one a little better.

Toy!!!!!! Squiddymois

Squiddymois is a bacteria that lives in the water. He tends to eat other bacterias in the waters and can cause illness and death when eaten by other organisms. However, despite being a fatal bacteria it is very rare and only lives in very deep waters where there is hardly any sunlight. He looks like this

The created model was made in three stages.

The First was his head

Then I made his legs

And then I baked him; however, he broke during the baking process and I could not paint him

Happy Meals of History

Ok in class we had to create happy meals from various time periods. The time periods were Prehistoric, Medieval Times, Wild West and 2500AD

For the Prehistoric I made a pterodactyl wing burger with leaves and water in stone ware and an ocarina for a toy.

 

For Medieval Times I drew a Chicken Leg burger with potatoes and a goblet of wine with a flail for a toy

For the Wild West, I decided to make a Steak Burger with French Fries and a Glass of water with a revolver as a toy

And for 2500AD, I decided to continue with today's trend of shrinking burgers to the point that it is paper thin, it comes with a salad and pills,  and a pop box

Chinese Menu

In class about a month ago we were asked to create a 16th century Chinese menu. I researched the art from back then and most of it was either of mountains, bamboo or dragons. So I chose to use mountains and dragons in my menu.My apologies for having it sideways. Please note this was made using soy sauce as paint.

Adventure Downtown

OK, so we were assigned to go on an adventure downtown and find some sights of artwork for possible inspiration for later artwork.

I personally think all this graffiti looked pretty cool and is all really nice pieces of art... I'm jealous
